Stocks To Watch Today: Beauty e-tailer Nykaa will make its stock market debut today

The domestic stock markets are likely to stage a gap down opening today, as per SGX Nifty. In the previous session, equity benchmarks snapped their two-day winning streak dragged by losses by heavyweights such as Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC twins. On Tuesday, the Sensex ended 112 points lower at 60,433 and Nifty 50 index declined 25 points to end at 18,044.

Nykaa

E-commerce beauty giant Nykaa will make its stock market debut at 10:00 am today. The company sold shares in the price band of Rs 1,085 – Rs 1,125 per share and its Rs 5,351 crore initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 82 times by the end of the bidding process.

BHEL

State-owned engineering firm BHEL announced its July-September quarter results for the financial year 2021-22, reporting a narrowing of net loss at Rs 48.58 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 552.38 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Indraprastha Gas Limited

Indraprastha Gas, which supplies compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana, announced its July-September quarter results, with a 30 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 400.54 crore.

MRF

Tyre maker MRF announced its July-September quarter results for the financial year 2021-22, reporting a decline of 54 per cent to Rs 189.06 crore on a consolidated basis, compared to Rs 410.92 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company’s revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,907.81 crore in the second quarter of current fiscal, compared to Rs 4,244.43 crore in the year-ago period.
